How to sand floorboards with red paint "Ochsenblut"

Uneven floorboards with red paint will be sanded diagonally with grit 16 to the laying direction until the "wave" and the red paint is almost removed. After that you ONLY sand in laying direction of the floorboards to remove the diagonal traces from grit 16 to 120 .

Before beginning to sand the floorboards, the nails must be hammered in in order not to damage the sanding paper or the sanding drum.

After sanding the floorboards diagonally you only sand from grit 16 to grit 120 in laying direction of the floorboard.

After sanding with grit 24

When sanding with grit 24 has been completed, you have to hammer in the nails the weren´t visible before. Clean the gaps between the floorboards and fill the nail holes with a mix of glue and the dust you got from sanding.
